Our team is dedicated to ensuring the safety and well-being of our community members. In light of the ongoing U.S. overdose crisis, which has seen over 107,000 deaths in the past year due to drug overdoses, we are actively working to combat this epidemic, with a particular focus on the 68% of cases involving synthetic opioids.
Safety is our priority, especially during adverse weather conditions. We urge all residents to exercise caution when navigating mountain roads during storms, and to consider alternative routes to avoid potential hazards. Additionally, we advise pausing hiking activities during inclement weather to ensure personal safety.
Our Parking Enforcement Detail (PED) plays a crucial role in maintaining order and accessibility within our community. By ensuring compliance with the California Vehicle Codes (CVC), Los Angeles County Vehicle Codes (LACoVC), and other municipal codes, we strive to alleviate parking congestion and improve parking availability for all residents.
