"Such an awesome beach and a great location to stay. So much around within walking distance. Pavillion grocery store, coffee shops, acai bowls and more. We rented surf gear and road the waves too. Dog friendly too. Ranchos Tacos is a must!"

"Beautiful Beach but be careful when entering the Water there are some potentially dangerous rip tides and very deep water close to shore.Highly recommend a boogie board and fins if your not Surfing."

"I live iut of state now, but came back for my 50th High School reunion, so I figured I'd better go put my toes in the Pacific one last time. I was thinking about going to the water by the Newport Pier, but after driving there, I decided to drive a little longer and go where I'd always gone as a teenager, and 15th street was where me and my friends always went. Parking was ample, but it took me about 10 minutes to figure out and pay for parking (they use an app mow, so I had to download it and then arrange payment. $3.40 seems a little high for an hour's worth of parking, and I didn’t see anyone else working a phone app when they pulled up, but I had out of state plates so I figured better safe than sorry. The area hasn't changed a lot in 50 years, but I quicky found out walking with a bad knee and a cane in the sand is lot harder than running out to the water like I did when I had youth and energy. I was also surprised at the angle of the dropoff for the beach going into the ocean. It seemed steeper and way shorter than I remembered. I went on a Friday morning and was expecting it to be cloudy, but as I was walking out to the beach, the sun broke through and there was some blue skies to help me on my way. The beach wasn't crowded at all (Friday morning in September, so I didn't expect a lot of people), but the few I did see were very friendly and engaging. Maybe seeing an old man walking on the beach, in the sand, with a cane is something they dont see everyday. Anyway, I was able to make it into the water and stand in the Pacific, probably for the last time in my life. It's hard to explain how I felt, but I grew up going to the beach since i was old enough to walk and I haven’t been back into the water for over 40 years. It helped me reconnect with that younger version of myself and the walk back to my car was a little easier than the walk to the water."

"Probably the best beach on the west coast, I've been to Beaches in Washington and Oregon. Seaside and Cannon Beach are nice in Oregon but it's warmer here and the sand was nicer."

"My Favorite Beach to go to .. it's untouched By Time looks like it did when I was a teenager. Charlie's Chili' has the best Chili around it's just a fun place to relax"
