"I incurred a work injury but I did not "immediately" realize that the numerous "sudden & unusual symptoms" that I was experiencing was actually caused by my work situation. Then I naively attempted to navigate the Work Comp process myself, thinking my employer would do the right thing by me since I had been an excellent employee for many years. My injuries were a number of physical manifestations as a result of prolonged "overwork" and "extreme stress" due to the work situation. This type of case is the most difficult to prosecute.
