Dr. Barroga, who grew up in nearby Cerritos, California, has always had a passion for family medicine, inspired by her father. Her early experiences assisting him in managing his type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, and other chronic conditions through a healthy diet and exercise sparked her commitment to the field. Dr. Barroga completed her medical education at the Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona and further honed her skills during her family medicine residency at Kaiser Permanente Riverside Medical Center.
