The Mexican American Opportunity Foundation (M.A.O.F.) is a nonprofit institution located at 5657 East Washington Boulevard in Commerce, California, United States. Established in 1963, M.A.O.F. uses a multi-generational approach to uplift families by providing social services for individuals of all ages. Their services span across four pillars: early child education services, senior services, community development services, and community partnership services. With an operating budget of over $100 million annually, M.A.O.F. serves over 125,000 people per year in seven counties in California including Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Orange, San Diego, Ventura, Kern, and Monterey. While initially focusing on the Mexican-American community, M.A.O.F. now proudly serves individuals from all racial and ethnic backgrounds.
