"Great sandwiches since I was a youngster. Through 3 different ownership's that I can remember and for me, the food has never suffered. The current family running it are wonderful folks, always cheerful and the service line is extremely efficient. You may find 20 people in line but it seems to take no time at all ti get to the front of the line. I love the Joe's Special.....Roast Beef and Pastrami with an An Jus Dip. Such a special place that is so different from big chain sandwich shops. 3 stars for atmosphere as the place is a bit worn, so what......I'm there for the sandwich!"
"Joe’s Buffet is an absolute must have in Fairfield. The sandwiches are huge & delicious!!! The Joe’s special of roast beef and pastrami delicious, the turkey incredible, & the roast beef alone is soo good! The Ajou sauce takes every bite over the edge!! You won’t be disappointed with the sandwich!"
"I asked the guy at the sporting goods store where to get a great deli sandwich because I don't get over to Fairfield that often, and I'm kinda lost over here. So, after he handed me the Trifelter Stabilizers for the Burlyshoot, he thought for a second and spurted out Joe's Buffet...Best sandwiches in town! So, off I went. And you know what...he was absolutely right! 5 stars all day long. ☆☆☆☆☆"
"First time here, and it definitely didn't disappoint! My husband had been raving about this place from the time we met, and I have to say it lived up to the hype. Absolutely delicious roast beef, delicious sourdough roll, and overall huge sandwich! 10/10!"
