"Terrible. Ever since Christina sold Prontos it has gone downhill. The sandwiches are sub-par, the soups are terrible and everything is overpriced. I have given this place multiple chances since it was sold and they have failed miserably. I will no longer be a patron of Prontos."
"First time trying this place and definitely will return and put it on my list for favorite Carlsbad restaurants. Nice little Italian deli. I ordered the Italian sub and a bowl of meatballs with marinara and cheese. The first thing I noticed about the sandwich was the fresh soft bread, wow, it was good. The meat tasted fresh and they sliced it on the spot. The vinaigrette was very good but not too overwhelming. The meatballs are homemade, tasted fresh. The next time I'm definitely ordering the meatball sandwich. Also, tried a homemade ginger cookie, oh my! It was great. Put this place on your list when you're in Carlsbad, it's worth the stop."
"If by chance you have not visited this hidden gem, you must. So much more than a sandwich shop but this is why I go. The quality of food and prices are excellent. Don't think I ever ordered from the menu because the specials are always unique and delicious. Highly recommend."
"Our first time here and we don't know why we never saw it before! The sandwiches are amazing and the desserts were breathtaking. Everything is so fresh and flavorful. The fries were like no other fry in the world. I cannot wait to go back and try every darn thing. Fresh pastas and sauces. Meals to go. BAKED ZITI!"
