The Maria Montessori School of the Golden Gate, located at 62 Lenox Way in San Francisco, California, is a renowned institution founded by the late Dr. Ursula Thrush in 1972. This school caters to children from toddler through elementary school age, following the philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori to promote holistic development in students. As a Non-Profit Corporation, The Maria Montessori School of the Golden Gate offers three levels of Montessori education along with daycare services, operating five days a week. The school provides a Pre K Full Day Session from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, as well as Before & After Day Care and Full Day Session from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. The Transitional Kindergarten (TK) program runs from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
