Now I have to wait 30 to 45 more days for a rootcanal to be authorized in all my years I've never had any dentist leave me in pain for this amount of time! Teamsters I think you made a huge mistake getting this dental plan JBT WAS WAY BETTER!"

"I have emailed and left voicemails several times and no replies. Went by the Stockton office and they don't allow the "public" in. Now I guess it's time to call the media and my attorney. Okay, I raised my rating to 4 stars instead of 1 after my initial review. It did take the one-star review to get a repose from them. After they contacted me, I was able to get my problem solved. But a member should not have to go through all this to get a problem solved."

"Read Yelp for real reviews. This insurance Appoves procedures and then refuses to pay. I am in financial ruin and stressed. My doctors have sent documents, but they just don't care. Yes, I appealed but no help whatsoever. Don't believe their answers. Difficult to reach a human person. Upper management can not be reached, I have tried. I never had been treated so badly in my life. There is something not right with this business. This is a nightmare in my senior life."

"I spoke with Lucia C. and she spent time with me taking care to get all the details of my problem. She was patient and explained the steps that were necessary to resolve my problem. She got me help in getting the prescription medication I needed. She helped to coordinate my benefits quickly and offered to follow up. Pretty good for a late Friday afternoon call ! I was actually Expecting an answering machine. Thank you, Lucia!"

"This is a company with a complete disregard for customer service. First of all, when you call into their call-center it’s impossible to press 0 or say operator/representative to go directly to a live person. So you have to wait for them to go through a million irrelevant options to even get to customer service benefits section. Then once you are connected to customer service benefits section, you are put on hold for no less than 45 minutes for a live person. All along the message is saying ‘you are a valued member and we’ll be right with you’. You can’t be valued customer when you’re on hold for 45 minutes. After waiting I get someone on the phone and she says I am sorry I can’t hear you, if you can hear me, please call us back. I was yelling I can hear you. Mind you, I have used the phone the entire day and with no issues with 4 bars, so I know this is compete BS. So desperate to get my benefits, I call again this time I am going through another department. That doesn’t help and I am on hold for yet another 45 minutes. Finally, someone picks up and instead of going into a big tirade I decide to just give a little pointers to the representative in a very calm manner. For example, I say it would be great to have these calls recorded so you guys can review them for improvements. And the last thing I hear her say is, we do record them and then I hear ‘this call has ended’. And the phone call drops. But again this has nothing to do with my line. Finally, I give up. I can’t look up my benefits. I even go to their website and their member login URL doesn’t work. I am not sure if the website only allows one unique browser, but URL wasn’t activated. It’s like a weird joke."
