Wishtoyo Chumash Village is a unique tourist attraction located at 33904 Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, California. The institution serves as a native-led organization founded in 1997 with a mission to protect and preserve the culture, history, and lifeways of Chumash and Indigenous peoples, as well as the environment. The Village, situated on an 8,000-year-old historical site overlooking the Pacific Ocean, is the only living Chumash cultural village of its kind in Southern California. Visitors can experience an immersive learning experience in this outdoor classroom, cultural gathering place, and scientific field site.
