Originally deeded to the City by the Home Investment Company and the Bixby Land Company in 1951, Los Altos Park has since undergone several developments to enhance the visitor experience. From the addition of security lighting in 1995 to the playground funded by the Los Angeles County Safe Neighborhood Parks Bond Acts in 1998, this park continues to evolve to meet the needs of the community.
