The Grace Hudson Museum & Sun House is located at 431 South Main Street in Ukiah, California, United States. This museum is a must-visit tourist attraction that showcases contemporary, historical, and native art. The Sun House, a Craftsman bungalow and artist studio, is also part of the institution. One of the current exhibitions, "Deep Roots, Spreading Branches: Fine Woodworking from the Krenov School," explores the philosophy and practice of master woodworker James Krenov and features works by current and former instructors and graduates of the program. The museum regularly features events and exhibitions, which can be found on their Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube pages. Visitors can also enjoy docent-led tours of the historic Sun House and learn about the life of artist Grace Carpenter Hudson and her family. The museum is open Wednesday to Saturday from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Sunday from 12:00 to 4:30 PM, and on First Fridays from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Admission is free for members, Native Americans, and standing military personnel. The Grace Hudson Museum is a proud member of the North American Reciprocal Museum Program and the Historic Artists Homes and Studios program.
