Quest Diagnostic Laboratory

"It says "less busy than usual" yet when you get here there are at least 20 people waiting. With maybe 5 open chairs to wait in. So how many people are waiting at any normal wait time, If 20 is less than usual?"

"The employee ruptured my vein with only 2 tubes of blood… It’s purple and swollen now. I have been going to a different lab for years and they have never have done that. Another phlebotomist kept asking how to use the computer system in front of me and she seemed super confused. It was extremely unprofessional and made me nervous that she was holding a needle. If you can choose a lab with more skilled/trained staff, definitely do it. They are nice, but that’s not the most important thing when someone is sticking a needle in your arm. This doesn’t seem safe especially if you are an older adult."

"I have ten fractured vertebrae. Blood in my Urine Dark Tea colored for about two weeks. I'm sleeping in a reclining couch now reclined because of my kidneys or something... I showed up to explain I had an emergency appt and see if they could get me in early to my 1:30 apt. If not I would reschedule. I walked into and empty room having to pee ( still bloody urine). I entered my info at the kiosk sat down and saw my name on the screen. In 30 min of waiting I watched 5 different staff members make eye contact with me and avoid me at all costs. I tried to get their attention politely and then my doc called saying they didn't need blood or urine as soon as expected. I then tried to cancel my appt and walk in at the kiosk but that's not an option. I literally had to write a note . This is one of about 15 bad experiences with this place. I have never used anyone... this place and a certain neurologist are getting really close to having not so fun convos with not just me but many other dissatisfied patients. There is one person there who does the work of like 50 people she's not the best with bed side manner but she earned the only star for this place."

"This lab is terrible! I tried to make an appointment online but the system would not let me so I walked in on a Saturday and waited for an hour and nobody even acknowledged that I was there. Nobody came in or out for at least 30 minutes then all of a sudden people with appointments began arriving and were taken back immediately. There was another lady who had been waiting for 3 hours and was never acknowledged. Then a lady came out and said she would not be able to take any walk ins because of all the appointments they had. There was literally at least 30 minutes where no one with an appointment came in. They could have easily taken me or at least the lady who had been waiting for hours. I am shocked at how unprofessional this lab is. They advertise that they take walk ins but could not take even one of the two walk-ins they had."

"Made an appointment online for Monday at noon....got there to realize they are closed at noon and don't take appointments at that time. So they open at 1pm and do not take walk-ins. I had to visit 2 other Quests before I was able to get my blood drawn."
