"My father been having health issues So I fly from Cincinnati to LAX and I really don’t understand his health problems and he doesn’t have a primary doctor so I encourage him to go to the emergency room where he had his surgeries so I can figure out how to properly take care of him . And my experience is Horrible . No one Could answer any of my questions. They can’t point me to who I need to talk to .It’s like no one knows nothing..and the place is filthy. Come on Long Beach y’all gotta do better. Take pride in your emergency room and your hospital. Keep it clean. There’s no reason why it should be this nasty."

"I was very comfortable throughout my whole stay at the hospital nurses were very knowledgeable and caring. They went over and beyond to make me feel comfortable. In general nurses were excellent. Rehab team were excellent too treated me with respect and helped me walk again. They were very patient In general I was comfortable during my stay at the hospital and highly recommended this facility"

"This is the worst hospital I have ever been to . I waited 5 hours in pain with a severe kidney infection. I couldn’t walk I had to be put into a wheelchair ( which the security guard gave to me … not a nurse or doctor) Thank you to the security guard ! The nurses were completely disrespectful, unhelpful and down right just unprofessional. The nurse offered me Tylenol and I said to her this won’t work for me I need something stronger , she told me the DR wasn’t in and I would have to wait in the lobby again to receive a different medication. After 3 hours of waiting I decided to take the Tylenol because the thought of continuing to be in pain out there was just unfathomable. 1 hour later the Tylenol didn’t relieve any of my pain so the nurse calls my name and I’m wheeled in there , she hands me a medication without telling me what she’s giving me , I said what are you giving me , she responded with “ it’s for pain “. Another nurse called her over so she left without answering my questions. To top it all off when I did get discharged I was still in the wheelchair barely able to walk and the nurse called my name from the door , I was in the middle of 2 other patients in wheelchairs and one of them had to be moved so I could fit through . The nurse didn’t move the other patients instead she pushed my wheelchair and hit both patients on the side ( an elderly man on the right of me ) ( and on my left a woman with a bleeding toe all wrapped up ) I will never return to this hospital, and if you care about your loved ones well being in the ER drive somewhere else . I will be filing grievances and calling higher up because y’all should be ashamed !!!!!!! My family works in medicine and I get it y’all get busy, it’s not an easy job , but don’t become a nurse if you don’t really care about patients! Also the picture I added was the condition of their restroom, not a custodian in sight , it reeked of vomit ."

"This hospital has been nothing short of amazing. I’ve been here for a little short of 3 days now and every single staff member that I’ve come across has been very attentive, caring and helpful. Even though they had to work through the Christmas Holiday they have been very pleasant. I appreciate them all very much for all that they have done and continue to do. God bless them."
