Welcome to Rivera Library, a cherished community hub located at 7828 Serapis Avenue, Pico Rivera, California. Established in 1913 and settled in its current location since 1970, our library serves as a vibrant cornerstone in a predominantly Hispanic neighborhood, offering a welcoming space for children and families to explore, learn, and grow. As the smaller of the two libraries in Pico Rivera, Rivera Library is proud to provide a wide array of services and programs, supported by the Friends of Rivera Library. We invite young artists to participate in LA County Library's 45th Annual Bookmark Contest and encourage everyone to join in the monthly celebrations and learning opportunities offered by the LA County Library system.

Welcome to the Pico Rivera Library, a cornerstone of knowledge and community engagement located at 9001 Mines Avenue, Pico Rivera, California. Established in 1917, our library has grown into a vibrant 16,000 square foot facility, dedicated on December 14, 2013, offering a wide range of resources and services to residents of Pico Rivera and surrounding areas. As the larger of the two libraries serving the city, we also provide support to two smaller libraries in the unincorporated areas of Los Angeles County. Our library is more than just a place to read and borrow books. We host a variety of events and programs, such as the LA County Library’s Annual Bookmark Contest, inviting young artists from grades K-12 to showcase their creativity. We also partake in the One Book, One County celebration, bringing our community together through shared reading experiences.
