"(DECEMBER 2022) I’ve watched Dusty Simington from afar for many years and even taken a class of his as a hairdresser in the industry. And although his family of hairdressers he helped raise would tell you that “he’s changed” I’ve always tried to dissuade myself in recognizing this man as a “covert narcissistic abuser”. I never wanted to believe the sentiment because I never actually met a man with this high of a caliber and capability of abuse. So much so a MTV reality show was even based solely on that sort of dynamic in the culture of hairdressing in the Newport Beach area. There’s no doubt Dusty is technically sound in his hairdressing practice. He’s just covertly whatever you need him to be so you fork over the money he’s asking of you. By my estimation. (JULY 2023) It’s been 6 months since I left this review. Don’t put it past the person described to harm you for something like a bad review."
"Slone did my hair for the first time today, and after we blowed it, I voiced that I wanted it to be lighter, and instead of letting me go home unhappy she immediately lightened it and spent another hour on my hair when she could’ve just told me it’d lighten up and move on. I’m so beyond happy with the service, my hairs never looked more blended and I’ve never enjoyed getting my hair done this much. She’s so kind and makes you feel like a friend. I 100% recommend her to anyone. She’s amazing."
"Ashton (forgive me if I've misspelled your name) did a great job cutting my hair. Charged me for a good price for a basic trim. My overall experience was positive. I appreciated seeing younger and older demographics of women, LBTQ+, and men. Glad to see another great salon in this building."

"This is the most talented group of hair stylists around! Dusty is a master and all the stylists there have had the privilege to work and learn from him. Nick, Austin, and Chase are amazing as well. This is not the place you want to walk in and tell them what to do with your hair. Tell them what you are thinking and your lifestyle and let them do their thing. You will not be disappointed!"
