Las Semillitas Cooperative Preschool is a unique institution located at 5000 MacArthur Boulevard in Oakland, California. Our school aims to maintain and reinforce the Spanish language for children who speak it as their mother tongue, while creating an environment where parents and children experience collective participation, ecological responsibility, holistic health, and progressive social consciousness. As a cooperative preschool, family involvement is essential to our mission. Families are encouraged to volunteer in the classroom regularly and support the school through various volunteer opportunities such as organizing field trips, fundraising, and recruiting new families.
