"I decided to try this restaurant based on the reviews on Google Maps. The reviews were honestly mixed. This restaurant is beautiful. As we waited for our table, three couples walked out of the restaurant complaining about the food and / or the price, which made me a little nervous about eating here. I noticed the burger had really good reviews, so I decided to order it. The burger was juicy and full of flavor. We also ordered drinks, and he calamari and shrimp for our appetizers. My daughter tried the shrimp appetizer, and she instantly began complaining of her throat getting scratchy, and her gums started tingling. We instantly knew something had nuts in it. Thankfully, she had a benadril pill in her purse, and she instantly started to feel better once she took the pill. Do not order the shrimp if you have a nut allergy. I asked our waitress Taryn if the sauce was made with nuts, and she confirmed that the sauce had pesto in it. I told her my daughter had an allergic reaction to the sauce but that she was okay. Taryn was apologetic and asked again if she was okay. I told her that she was fine, however, that they really need to highlight the fact that the sauce had nuts in it as this situation could have been life threatning had we not had the allergy pill. My daughter ordered the au juis sandwich. She said it was an 8 out of 10. Our server was amazing, and she provided excellent service. Would I go back? Yes, I would."
"Great restaurant, great food. Steelhead salmon app was delicious, steelhead salmon house special was delicious. Butter cake was delicious. Wine list is okay, nothing special, but a hard critic there."
"Gorgeous restaurant, great service, however not impressed with the $21 shrimp tacos (the menu description sounds wonderful). Out of all fairness — I am comparing it to how good the fish tacos were at Red O Cantina down in Santa Monica. For two shrimp tacos, $21 seems a bit high for what it is packing in flavor. Other's at our table snagged the burger and mentioned it was as underwhelming as it was underseasoned and felt for the cost they've had better flavored burgers at Red Robin."
