"It's sad to hear the Manager Michelle being fired because the bookstore lacked sales. The usual problems always lacks from the above management, not from the managers in the stores. Especially Michelle who ran Rio Hondo College bookstore 95% of the time. Besides, there was talk that Whittier College was planning in shutting down. How does a manager get terminated when the contract bookstore that has other locations terminate someone with a heart of gold. SMH, this is absurd. The Manager should not be terminated. The upper management should restructure themselves. Bring back Michelle!!! Upper management just wants more money in their pocket during a recession."
"Well stocked store. Had what i was looking for but agree with other poster. Couldnt shop comfortably..feeling watched. Walking to an aisle and seeing the clerk watching from the end of another aisle..that level of watching. Got what i need but wont be back."
"I got upcharged, followed around the shoebox sized store, and profiled. I DO NOT recommend this store at all. The clerk was extremely rude to me and my partners. I will not be returning."
"Nice little college store but some of the book rentals are a bit overpriced. Still a good place to get your gear and other necessities."
"The staff are great here. They help you find what you want, they suggest you search to see if you can find cheaper prices to price match. You can rent used or new books and buy of course. Great customer service."
