Vons Pharmacy

"Vons pharmacy was supposed to be much cheaper than CVS, so I attempted to move all my prescriptions there. Vons did not get all of the prescriptions. I had them follow up today. They were unable to contact my health insurance due to the system being down; it had been down for the past 4 days (Tuesday-Friday) and they had no estimate for when it would be fixed. So, instead of costing $1.98, they wanted to charge me $41. Additionally, my doctor submitted a new prescription, but that system was also down today. I was told my doctor needed to call in my prescription. I made sure to call while I was in front of the pharmacist, and my doctor assured me they'd call right away. My new prescription was not filled for another 5 hours. Each step has been like pulling teeth. So, it's back to CVS pharmacy, who will charge me $10 instead of the $2 Vons advertised or the $41 Vons wanted to actually charge me."

"Staff is knowledgeable and makes sure to be very clear with you but I've had other issues with getting prescriptions on time and I don't know whose fault that is so I don't think that blaming the staff is fair. I had a small issue before that would have taken forever to be resolved at my previous pharmacy but a friend and my doctor had recommended to switch to this Vons; I'm so glad that I did! EDIT: I am not sure if this is an issue everywhere but now, anytime I have a refill due for especially my most important medications, they are a day or 2 late to fill them because the medications are rarely ever in stock and have to be ordered, very, very frustrating. I've had to go to the ER many times recently when they run out of vital medications that are not in stock the day they are due and they have to order them, making the RXs usually a day or 2 late. They are always closed between noon and 1pm for lunch and on all federal holidays but other than that, the hours are very reasonable and usually there isn't a line. Call back if you're hung up on as that does happen at times."

"Rude, condescending, left me without what I needed, I am in disbelief. A woman with dark long brown hair was very rude to me, first time seeing her there. This is the LAST time I come here."

"I try to avoid this pharmacy at all costs. The interactions I have had with the pharmacist there named Jessica, was the absolute worst. Being in pharmacy myself I was appealed she would treat someone the way she treated me. Jessica was the exact opposite of what you expect out of a professional who cares. She was rude, short, and seemed to be on a power trip every time I have had to pick up medication with her. I’ll often times go back when she isn’t working bc she is cold and unhelpful. If I could give negative stars I absolutely would."
