"I first visited Dr Clark to drain a few ganglion cysts growing on my wrist. It came back after a few weeks. Dr Clark recommended surgery. He was very thorough during the pre op visit. I knew exactly what to expect and how he plan on removing the multiple cysts. He was able to remove all the cysts with only one incision which I am very grateful for. The staff and nurses at Sequoia Surgical Pavilion was a cheerful bunch even at 5:30AM and made me feel at ease before the surgery. I would definitely recommend Dr Clark."

"I’m looking at other reviews of Golden State Ortho and they are mostly very accurate. The best summary is to say the doctors and nurses who work here are fabulous, but the systems and procedures are absolutely horrible. I had rotator cuff surgery in December (2022) and it went very well. But my surgeon left the practice shortly after and I believe it was due to the change from Muir over to Golden State. I was on the phone for hours trying to get my MRI scheduled and to set up an appointment to see the doctor initially. The front desk staff seem to be just as frustrated with the systems as everyone else so I’m not really sure where the blame lies. It’s kind of like going into Safeway on Broadway. Everyone there is awesome and helpful but the store is a disaster. If you plan on using Golden State, just be prepared to spend a lot of time making appointments and getting through their systems and when frustration sets in, just remember I told you so."
