"Absolutely infuriating. I scheduled an appointment 3 weeks ago in-person and the preparer was incredibly rude. After spending a week regathering and hunting down documents, I was ghosted. When making another appointment (this time virtual) the tax preparer was a no show! I opted for a new tax professional to prepare my documents and they were ALSO a no show. What an absolute joke. I will be going elsewhere go-forward. Beyond annoyed and have spent way too much time trying to make this work."

This past time I got a angel by the name of Alona, I thought I had all my paperwork but didn't, she was patient and helpful with me and she made it all work out in thee end. "I hired Kimberly to do both my 2019 & 2020 taxes end of 2020. I should have gotten the red flags when her communication was bad and inconsistent from the start but she came highly recommended by my dad. Long story short: I paid her to file both my tax years: 2019 which she advised me to file with my 2020 saying I wouldn’t get charged any late fees due to COVID delays. Well that didn’t work out. Not only did she seem not to know any answers to my questions BUT she didn’t even file my 2019 taxes at all, the paperwork was never sent but I still paid for the work and was very surprised when I got tax evasion notices in my mail. Due to everything being so backed up the IRS sent me all of my notices at once but with different dates, therefore they continued to pile on interest with little to my knowledge of it not being filed in the first place. So instead of the $480 that I owed them originally now I owe over $1,100 in interest and fees! Kimberly didn’t even have the decency to respond to my many emails and calls as to how to fix this or give an answer as to why this happened in the first place, I mean I did pay her nearly $300 to do both the years which she poorly advised on. So now, I am working on abatement forms, ominously hoping someone from the IRS will get back to me and wave the fees since my tax preparer messed up major on actually sending it in. Another fun hiccup is, now that I “owe” so much the IRS has been holding my $1,300 return from 2020, so until this is fixed I’m pretty screwed with getting that as well. I understand the IRS is super backed up and unresponsive but the fact that my preparer didn’t even respond was pretty disheartening and made the job of figuring this out very stressful. I had to throw more money down to hire someone else to help with this and taxes this year will be an extra nightmare because I trusted and paid someone to do my very standard tax forms. I would NOT recommend Kimberly, I don’t normally write poor reviews but the fact alone that she didn’t even respond or apologize for the mess up speaks for itself as to her ability and care as a tax preparer. She messed up my financials a lot and fingers crossed I don’t have to pay those ridiculous late fees and interest. Be warned…."
