Established in 1952, this 8.5-acre park has been a cornerstone of the community, offering a variety of recreational opportunities and facilities for all ages. Funded by a grant from the Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle), Veterans Park proudly boasts an environmentally friendly initiative, having diverted 1,303 tires in its development. The park features a community recreation center that includes a large multi-purpose room with a stage and hardwood floor, a kitchen, and two classrooms. Sports enthusiasts can enjoy the lighted softball, baseball, and soccer fields, as well as four basketball courts, two tennis courts, and a volleyball court. Families and friends can gather at the group picnic area, while children play at the well-equipped playground designed for both pre-school and school-aged kids.
