It is part of the first-in-the-nation, interdisciplinary, and multicultural arts campus that provides an accessible, sustainable, and vibrant Home for the Arts in Santa Cruz County. The Tannery Arts Center is a project of Artspace Inc. and the City of Santa Cruz Economic Development Department. The eight-acre campus is home to twenty-eight commercial rate art studios and one hundred affordable rate residential apartments.
