Our waters serve as a vital feeding ground for a remarkable array of marine life, including one of the largest groups of white sharks, 29 species of whales and dolphins, over 390 species of fish, and more than 330 species of invertebrates such as deep-sea corals, sponges, shrimp, crabs, and octopuses. The unique upwelling currents in the sanctuary contribute to this spectacular biodiversity.
