The academy was founded in 2003 as a result of a merger between the Butler-Fearon School of Canada and California, and the O’Connor-Kennedy School in California, quickly establishing itself as a premier school in the Western US, Eastern Canada, and internationally. After the retirement of two of the directors, Rose Fearon and Vincent O'Connor, in July 2021, Kate O'Connor, ADCRG, along with her son Sean Kennedy, TCRG, decided to continue the legacy of the school.
