Welcome to Artesia Library, a cornerstone of the Artesia community since its establishment in June 1913. Located at 18801 Elaine Avenue, Artesia, California, our library proudly stands as the 13th branch of the County of Los Angeles Public Library system. Our rich history is a testament to the dedication and passion of community members, such as Mr. C. L. Edgerton and our first librarian, Mrs. Della M. Brooker. Artesia Library offers a wide range of services and resources to meet the needs of our diverse community. With the support of the Friends of the Library, we provide an inviting space for learning, creativity, and community engagement. Our library features a dedicated Homework Center, established in 2001, which offers enhanced resources and technology to support students in their educational pursuits.
