William B. Ide Adobe State Park
William B. Ide Adobe State Park is a historic park located at 21659 Adobe Road in Red Bluff, California. The park is a popular tourist attraction with its beautiful grounds that are open from sunrise to sunset. The Visitor Center is open Friday to Sunday from 10am to 4pm, where guided tours of the homestead buildings are available. Dogs are allowed on a leash in the picnic area and parking lots. Online reservations are not available for this park. The park is named after William B. Ide, who played a significant role in early California history by writing the proclamation that established the California Bear Republic in 1846, which lasted for 22 days.
