Located at 7867 Redwood Road in Oakland, California, Reinhardt Redwood Regional Park is a stunning tourist attraction and park that offers visitors a peaceful escape into a majestic redwood forest. The park was once a bustling logging area in the mid-1800s, but now boasts a serene forest of 150-foot coast redwoods. In 2019, the park was renamed in honor of Dr. Aurelia Henry Reinhardt, a prominent civic leader and president of Mills College. With multiple entrances, including the main Redwood Gate entrance, visitors can explore the 1,833-acre park's diverse landscapes of redwoods, evergreens, chaparral, and grasslands.
