The forest is a beautiful blend of second- and third-growth Sitka spruce, redwood, and Douglas fir, offering a serene escape near Humboldt Bay. It also includes riparian areas that support a diverse array of plant and wildlife species, making it an ideal spot for nature enthusiasts and researchers alike.
