Take advantage of our special offer: enjoy one day free of the daily time and mileage charges on rentals of intermediate (group C) to full-size four-door (group E) cars, valid with a minimum three-day rental. Remember, taxes, concession recovery fees, customer facility charges, and fuel charges are additional. Optional items such as LDW and other surcharges may apply. This offer is available at Avis locations in the contiguous U.S. (excluding the New York Metro area) and requires an advance reservation. Terms and conditions apply, so please ensure to review them in detail.

Our operating hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and weekends from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Note our holiday closures and special hours during festive periods. For added convenience, we offer a free pick-up service; please contact us directly to arrange this at least 24 hours in advance.

"Horrible experience. Terrible customer service!!! We were served by a man who had no hair on his head. I don't remember his name, he was rude and had no empathy and he also laughed at our accent, he told us that we couldn't rent still having reservation and he didn't offer a solution either! Never ever go to this company. I wanted to give them a second chance because last year we had a bad experience too but I now realize that this company is a rotten apple. If you want to be safe and well taken care of, rent somewhere else."

"One of the workers were extremely rude and not professional. Had to wait more than an hour to get our car and refused to serve us when we came in at 9 am (when they open) After waiting, the car we got had a dead battery. The next car we got has a seatbelt that doesn’t even work. Finally, after waiting 2 hours once we pulled out of the rental car center the tire blew up. The worker was extremely unhelpful and was flat out useless. They claimed zero responsibility and even towed our car from their driveway. I repeat. DO. NOT. RENT. FROM. THIS. PLACE. If I could give negative stats I would. I’d rather rent a car from a homeless man than rent from this establishment."

"Convenient location but the office was dirty. Elevator to cars is the parking elevator not the one in the same building. Locate the car by clicking remote and see which one beeps. Damage report is given yo you without your review as the card are no where near the office. A bit odd for sure."

"Avis website Terms and Conditions are wrong or the rental location is overcharging customers. Credit card customer prepaid rentals made online should be charged $200 security deposit at time of pickup. Not $250. Returned my 2 day rental on a Sunday. I had to call Avis helpline on Wednesday because the downtown Long Beach Avis location still had not shown the car as being returned. Very poor customer service."

"My car rental experience would have been 5 star here if I received a vehicle with a full tank of gas. Instead I get a rental agreement saying the tank is 8/8 yet my vehicle has 3/4 tank. This is the second time I received a Avis vehicle in CA that’s not full. The two gentlemen working the desk on 2/10 morning were great, if my car had a full tank this would’ve been a 5 star experience."
