Goat Hill Pizza

"Just ordered a Greek salad today from Goat Hill on Portal Avenue. I don't know why we go there! Literally one in every three times, they forget to include the salad dressing with the salad. They did it again today. The to-go boxes are closed so you don't generally think to inspect whether they would have forgotten something so simple. The young woman who took our order today is very nice and even asked what salad dressing we wanted. But this has happened at least 3-4 times at this location. It's like a pattern. You spend $15-20 on a salad, and they can't remember to put the salad dressing in the bags. Never going back there again."

"I LOVE Goat Hill Pizza. Delicious crust, fabulous specials, welcoming atmosphere, family friendly, and dietary restriction sensitive: they have it all! With pizza good enough that even a New Yorker can love it, this is a wonderful hidden gem for West Coast pizza lovers. They even have a hand-made gluten-free crust made in-house! Vegan? No problem! I've only found one other place in San Francisco that does a better New York style pizza, but they aren't as family friendly or dietary restriction sensitive. As if all that weren't enough, it sits at a corner of the hill with an amazing view of the entirety of downtown! I will be making this a regular visit for all my friends and family that visit San Francisco."

"DO NOT EAT HERE. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY FOR THE HORRENDOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE YOU WILL RECEIVE. I ordered a pizza on New Year's Eve. First it was delivered to the wrong address. Then, instead of remaking it, they delivered it COLD to my house. Then to top it off, my vegetarian pizza came with ANCHOVIES. When I called to complain the person answering the phone was belligerent, rude and said they would not do anything. When I called back to ask for the manager HE HUNG up on me. Unbelievable!! Spend your money elsewhere. This place is HORRID and given the number of choices out there, I highly recommend you patronize any other pizza joint. Great job in ruining your reputation Goat Hill Pizza."

"First time trying Goat Hill Pizzeria, came to their all you can eat Monday night event, which was great because you get to try several of their flavors. All of theirs pizzas were awesome. The one with goat cheese, green pepper, and mushroom in particular was superb. The staff is super quick at dishes out slices (staff walks around with full pizzas and offer tables slices as the pizzas come out of the oven). Will definitely be back to order pizzas, the sourdough crust is AMAZING."

"Great sourdough crusted pizza! A true classic of San Francisco. The only downside is that they don’t have in-house seating due to the pandemic. Their pizza is great to take to-go and their staff is very friendly!"
