"I had my wisdom teeth done here. All of them. Their new dentist, Dr. Beck, assured me he had done thousands of wisdom tooth extractions in the military and that it would be fine and I didn't need to go to a specialist. It was genuinely the worst experience of my life. I had an infection so all the numbing they did wasn't taking like it should, and I was in immense pain the entire time. I told him this repeatedly, and he just kept injecting me, 6 times total. They didn't take up to date x-rays when I was there, and instead relied on old ones from years back. One of my teeth was severely impacted or something like that, and they didn't know. This resulted in Dr. Beck ripping and tearing at it for ages, all the while I was in excruciating pain. They also didn't ask what medications I was taking. So that tooth was super deep in there, and this combined with my meds caused it to bleed after extraction. A LOT. It was so bad my mouth would pool up in seconds. I went back to him twice that day concerned, and both times he said there was nothing he could do and that I had to wait it out. He eventually mentioned I could get surgicell to stop the bleeding but that they didn't have any, I asked if an E.R would have one and he genuinely said "no, they won't be able to help you at all." Then one of the nurses came over and said "this isn't normal, you need to go somewhere else". At that point I went home hoping it would stop. Midnight rolled around and I was still pouring blood, having to change gauze as often as he said (I don't remember the specific number of minutes, maybe 20)? At this point I went to the e.r. and they immediately had me in and fixed my wound with surgicell, stopping the bleeding. I went to an oral surgeon the next day and he was disgusted by what happened, and I ended up having minor nerve damage (that eventually went away) He should have recommended me to an oral surgeon, should have taken X-rays, should have checked what meds I took, and should have never done the job without surgicell on hand. Also, he could have offered laughing gas after the 6th injection that wasn't working"

"My experiences with Atascadero Hills Dental have been nothing but truly amazing. I am on a fix income and they understood that completely and created for me a very reasonable payment plan. I no way did I have to worry about how I was going to pay my other bills in anyway whatsoever. The entire Staff there are very understanding, friendly and very professional in all that they do. There is no other Dental office I would rather go to than Atascadero Hills Dental. I highly recommend Atascadero Hills Dental to everybody that needs dental work, you will not regret it one bit. "I can't say enough good things about this dental practice. After recently moving to Paso Robles (and neglecting my teeth for years), I was in search of a dentist to get me back on track. I feel lucky to have found Atascadero Hills Dental. The office is comfortable and inviting. The dental technology/equipment blew my mind and was extremely impressive. The front office staff is very friendly and greeted me by name when I walked through the door on my second visit. Dr. Nathan and Dr. Preston are professional and treated me like I was part of their family. They have built the kind of practice that should be the model for all dental offices and should be proud of their accomplishments and their staff. They were never rushed, never pushy, never judgy (and given the state of my mouth, they easily could have been). They gave me a variety of options for dental care, and performed what I needed with the level of expertise and care that you hope you'll find, but rarely do. Beth and Terri are simply amazing. "Thank you to the team at Atascadero Hills Dental - my crown had been knocked off and damaged by the peridontist office and they took me in within 25 minutes of the event, assessed the situation, took an impression, made me an appointment for the next a.m. for a new crown (temporary) and put my mind at ease. They were welcoming and professional. They even got me signed up on their insurance plan as I do not have dental insurance and saved me 15% on my crown and the cost for the emergency appointment!
