"Visitors or looking for somewhere to get a quick visit -DON'T GO! They will surprise bill you a month later with outrageous bills that don't make sense and will claim that what you paid at the office was an 'estimate'. We also waited over 2 hours to be seen even though we kept being told it would be 30 min, then waited again to see even see the nurse practitioner. For visitors who might want to be seen for a walk in simple visit, know that you will be charged over $500 later additional to the $66 they claim as estimate for the visit, plus whatever else they come up with and bill to your home later! Insulting. I'll submit my complaint to CMS."
"They were quick and efficient. The visit took about 45 minutes. However, they charge $332 for a Covid test. If you think you have Covid just walk across the street to CVS and get a test for $10 instead. The lack of price transparency is frustrating but that is common in the American healthcare system."
"My wife and I are from Santa Cruz and visit Tahoe a lot. While on this trip, I stepped barefoot on a pretty large splintered piece of wood and was sure there was a splinter in my foot. I visited the urgent care and the staff was awesome. Everyone was very professional, courteous, and kind. Can't say enough good things about this place and the people who work here!"
"Our daughter had an ear infection so we brought her in on a Friday morning. We were in and out in less than an hour and the front desk and pediatrician were efficient, competent and friendly. Great experience."
"Can't say enough good things about this urgent care. I've had to bring my son to them twice and both times they've been so welcoming, listened to us, answered any questions and were incredibly thorough. They spoke to my son, who is 12, with respect and explained things to him on his level, which was awesome. Both the nurse and the doctor who saw us, Ellie Black, were an absolute pleasure to work with. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone in need of urgent care in the Tahoe City area."
