"This is a great transit transfer station. Each area is clearly marked, the restrooms are decent, able to buy food snacks. Many transit companies go through here making it easy to ride public transportation around the Bay Area."

"This is a very large transit center located in the heart of San Rafael. There's like 4 lanes for buses. So tons of them are coming in and going out of here all day long. And there are shelters all around to keep you dry during those rainy days in the spring and the fall as well. Don't forget the security building. It is small, but it can really come in handy when you need security. It is usually staffed with helpful people during business hours. Outside of business hours, please use 911 in case of an emergency. That's just common sense. The buses are heading everywhere. All over Northern California. Wanna go up to Sonoma County? You got it! There's a bus for that. Want to get down to San Francisco? Absolutely, you can! Consider their many options and choose the one that's right for you. The fares are quite reasonable, and they don't charge a premium during rush hour. If you get hungry while waiting for your bus, a nice selection of great food choices are located just around the corner. You're really gonna be surprised."
"As bus stations go this isn't too bad. Very few dirty needles or condoms on the ground and almost no discernable smell of urine. Be careful loitering here though. As much as you may want to stay and enjoy this bus stop all day, San Rafael has strictly enforced vagrancy laws."
"The place it's clean and organized. The buses are 90% of the time on time. The reason why it didn't get 5 stars is because of how unaware the security guards are, they have no smoking signs everywhere yet you will find 1-2 people smoking everytime you get by the transit center. We need to also feel secure when they are around but they seem to just hang around. Most likely you will find the 3 securities by the bathrooms just talking and chilling."
