This academy offers a single day exploration of three popular welding processes, focusing on shop safety, practical use, machine breakdown, metal prep, and hands-on welding labs. The main goal of the academy is to provide a mindful and inclusive space for women and youth to learn about welding in a fun and engaging atmosphere. Classes at The Exploratory Academy are taught by founder Tiffany Orff, a former college welding instructor who has experience teaching various welding processes in accordance with the AWS D1.1 code.
