My toddler was nervous to go to the dentist for the first time and after our visit, he kept asking how many more days until we get to go back. Her calm demeanor made my son feel comfortable and her knowledge of dentistry made me confident in her care. She is amazing with children, very gentle, and makes sure everyone feels safe. "We had a wonderful experience with Pacific Coast Pediatric Dentistry. This female-owned business is the complete opposite of an old, aging, boring dentist office. The personal touches that Elite has integrated to create a fun and welcoming space for children really go above and beyond. There was a name board to welcome my son for his appointment, interactive games and toys to play with while checking in, a large learning space and a fun assortment of reward toys to choose from at the end of the appointment. Adult to adult, I learned so much about my son’s development, what and when to look out for certain things, as well as prevention tips to put to use at home. Adult to child, Elite was warm, gentle and playful with my son, making him feel at ease and smiling the entire time. We are so happy we’ve found this practice for our son and future kids! This is definitely the elevated future of pediatric dentistry."

"Dr. Mekel is amazing! She not only took the time to explain every detail and give great suggestions, but she was also very welcoming and patient with my son. My son (2 year old) felt very comfortable. He was able to watch his favorite show while Dr. Mekel completed her exam. The location is clean, spacious, and welcoming. Parking was convenient and available. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend this pediatric dentist."

"We had a great visit with my two year old! When we arrived she was excited to see her name on the board welcoming her for her first visit. Dr. Mekel was warm, gentle, and kind. Both she and her assistant were encouraging and positive, helping my both of us feel comfortable. She went slow and let my two year see and touch all her instruments before doing anything. I love that on our incoming paper work they asked what my daughter liked and she made a point to ask/mention those things when she talked to her- great patient care! On our way out Dr. Mekel stopped to play with my daughter in the play area. Everything was very professional, we recieved great care and I couldn't be happier with this practice. Highly recommend."

My 4 year old son was nervous to go to the dentist but Dr. Mekel and her assistant were so sweet and amazing with him. I have taken my son to two other dentist before and Dr. Mekel and her staff do not even compare. We finally found a location that meets our needs. I also loved how Dr. Mekel took her time to know my son and me. She made us feel comfortable and she’s so knowledgeable as well. To top everything off the location is so beautiful.
