Conejo Community Park
Conejo Community Park, also known as “Dover and Hendrix Park”, is a beautiful 38.4-acre property located in Thousand Oaks, California. This park, transferred to the Conejo Recreation and Park District in 1972, features oak-studded hillsides, reservable facilities, picnic areas, and a ballfield. It is also home to the popular Summer Concerts in the Park series, held in the sloped lawn amphitheater. The community center building, completed in 1965 with the help of volunteers, is currently undergoing a redesign with input from the community. Visitors can enjoy the park from October to March from 7:00am to 6:00pm, and from April to September from 7:00am to 8:00pm. Field conditions can be checked by calling the Field Conditions Line at 805-381-1236. The park is open Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 7:00pm, Saturday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, and Sunday from 12noon to 5:00pm. The Conejo Community Center & Outdoor Unit is a school located at 1175 Hendrix Avenue in Thousand Oaks, California, United States. The park features a 14,000 square foot community center, reservable picnic areas, rooms, fields, and sport courts for day and evening use.
