In the past, the park was home to the beloved Wildwood Fort, which was built in 1967 as a unique attraction. However, due to safety concerns, the fort was dismantled in 2009. In recent years, Wildwood Neighborhood Park has undergone several improvements to enhance the visitor experience. These improvements include a renovated and expanded playground with modern fort-themed equipment, new picnic tables, and updated paving. Our head instructor has a rich background in dance, having competed in Majorette competitions and danced with various groups in college. She has been teaching at Thousand Oaks High School since 1991 and has successfully built the dance program from the ground up. Jordan, another member of our coaching staff, has a deep passion for teaching and working with youth. She has a BFA in Dance and has performed with professional artists in San Diego. Madi, a former member of the Division 1 GCU Dance Team, brings her experience as a national champion and UDA Instructor to our program. Marielle, a versatile dance artist with over 17 years of teaching experience, adds a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team.
