Welcome to the UCSF Kidney Transplant Center, a beacon of hope and healing for patients in need of kidney and pancreas transplants. Located on the seventh floor at 400 Parnassus Avenue, San Francisco, CA, our center is dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to patients before and after their transplant journey. Since its establishment in 1964, the UCSF Connie Frank Transplant Center has been at the forefront of transplant medicine, serving as a major hub for the West Coast. Our team evaluates over 1,000 patients annually as potential transplant candidates and performs more than 325 transplants each year. In 2015, we proudly performed more kidney and combined kidney-pancreas transplants than any other program in the U.S., according to the Organ Procurement and Transplant Network.
