Olompali State Historic Park, located at 8901 Redwood Boulevard in Novato, California, offers a glimpse into the rich history of the Coast Miwok people who inhabited the area for thousands of years. Visitors can explore the historic Burdell mansion, gardens, and ranch facility, as well as hike along the Miwok Loop Trail or venture to the peak of Mt. Burdell for a challenging trek. Dogs are allowed in developed areas of the park, but not on trails or in historic buildings.
