"They were so kind and did a great job getting me to red."
"It’s difficult to for me to leave a poor review. I went in about a month ago with long black curly hair, virgin(never had a color change), “man bun” style cut. My goal was to go platinum blonde and I was under the assumption it would take at least 2 sessions to achieve in order not to damage my hair. When I called I was told this could be achieved in 1 day without issues, mind you I naturally have dark black hair which was communicated and was given a price. Upon arriving I was given a higher price due to the length of my hair which I had problem except for the fact that after the process my barber had to cut +3 inches off the top due to the damage caused by the bleach. After about a total of 5 hours I was about an 8 in color vs the 10 I was going for. During my first wash I noticed it was impossible to run my fingers let alone a comb through my hair, my hair strands were extra thin and my curls were completely gone. My scalp severely dried with scabs. I normally get braids and decided to give my hair a month to see if my hair would improve, during this time I used tea tree shampoo most of the time and Olaplex 4 (purple) x2/week, Olaplex 6 leave in after. My hair slightly improved but unfortunately it did not recover. Even after the cut a lot of my hair is thin and has a rubber band type feel to it. Disappointed tbh. I’m only giving it a 2 star due to the fact that Kate was attentive and patient during the whole process. At the end I feel I paid a lot to leave with the wrong color and damaged hair."
