"Jedediah Smith Redwoods State and National Park is so beautiful. It is my favorite of all the places to see the coastal redwoods of California. The redwood forest absolutely magnificient. It is so green. With moss growing in shady areas and the ferns at the of the redwwods, it looks to perfect to be real. My son said that he always feels to God whenever we go visit the redwoods. Together Jedediah Smith, Del Norte Coast and Prarie Creek Redwood State Parks make up Redwood National Park."

"Majestic! Nature is absolutely amazing. Trees that are so huge that everything else seems so small. Some are over 2,000 years old and the base more than 20 feet around. The Smith River follows the path of the trees. Amazing! Highly recommend."

The dense forest is a joy to walk through, exploring not only the large and small trees, but also creeks that wind through the forest and create their own beauty as well. The well maintained trails allow you to explore without too much effort and is an easy walk from the parking for families and children.
