"No heat in bathrooms, hot tub was cold but eventually warmed up. Great location close to everything. Room was fine, great option for the price. I was happy with it."
"When we arrived, we were sure we were going to rate it 5 stars. Room was small but had everything we needed. Location was great, we walked to dinner downtown. At this price point, I just don't think you're going to find a cleaner and safer hotel (based on reviews, some of the cheaper places in town are nightmare fuel). After all, we just wanted a place to sleep before we went skiing. Unfortunately, the sleeping experience was awful. The bed was uncomfortable and cratering in the middle. Unlike other hotels, you can't run the heater and constant fan at the same time, so if you want heat (and you need heat in the winter in Tahoe), that means the fan will be cycling on and off all night when the heat goes on. The property was very quiet (we were there on a Monday night), but at one point, our immediate room neighbors came back around 1am and made a ruckus which we heard very clearly. Other than that is as actually very quiet. We didn't use the hot tub but other people were so it was working. My partner and I both got terrible nights sleep. I would consider staying here again because of the price, but I'd have to bring a small fan for the noise and my own bedding (both to keep me warm without needing as much heat and to make the bed comfortable enough to actually sleep)."
"The place provided a night stay out of the chilling cold. While we did not ask for more, I must highlight areas for improvement like the limited toiletries, noisy heater, alternating hot and cold water, and small maintenance issues. My hope this would be looked at as a constructive feedback to help the hotel enhance the guest experience."
"We had a Whirlpool Jacuzzi room which was spacious. It was a very clean. Check in was efficient and friendly. It was simply furnished but had what we need. The fireplace was nice but the logs were hard to keep burning."
