The Santa Ynez Valley Therapeutic Riding Program is a non-profit organization located at 195 North Refugio Road in Santa Ynez, California. Our institution offers therapeutic horseback riding experiences for individuals with physical, emotional, and cognitive challenges. Our mission is to empower and enrich the lives of our participants through the healing power of horses. At our program, we believe that horses have the ability to positively impact the lives of those who interact with them. They provide a sense of confidence, self-esteem, peace, and tranquility to individuals facing various difficulties. Recently, the theater has been the focus of a revitalization effort led by the Lompoc Theatre Project Corporation. With support from Senator Monique Limón, Assemblymember Hart, the Santa Ynez Band of Chumash Indians, and actress Julia Louis-Dreyfus and her husband Brad Hall, the theater has received funding pledges and donations to support renovations and restoration efforts. The Lompoc Theatre has a rich history of hosting a variety of performances, from vaudeville and ballet to symphonies and rock concerts. The goal of the Lompoc Theatre Project is to restore the theater to its former glory and reopen it as a center for arts, culture, and entertainment in the Lompoc community.
