Community Child Care Council
The Community Child Care Council, located at 7700 Edgewater Drive in Oakland, California, is dedicated to providing access to affordable, high-quality child care and essential resources for families and child care providers. Through a network of family-focused resources, financial assistance programs, and community partners, 4Cs of Alameda County connects families with state-licensed child care providers, payment assistance programs, and family supports. Their services are free to all parents, regardless of income. Additionally, they offer training, business counseling, professional development, and support to local child care providers in order to improve the quality of child care services in Alameda County. As a private, non-profit agency, 4Cs of Alameda County relies on the generosity of donors and friends to continue their important work for children and families in the community. In-person appointments are available on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9am-5pm, and staff are available virtually and by phone from 9am-5pm, Monday through Friday.
