"Mind you, this was four years ago but I’ll never go back: I was just another patient with a chart. I dreaded seeing Dr Moon and hind sight I should’ve switched. Having preeclampsia with my first, studying it and bp readings before my second, I knew myself and could advocate. I sent her normal at home readings every single week and idk if she even looked at them or believed them. Every single appointment I had to defend what I knew was best for my body and my baby (second pregnancy) and she always gave a look like I was crazy and she 100% didn’t agree because I’m a white coat and I didn’t like the environment. She had me do stress tests in the last trimester and my readings were absolutely normal. This confused her why they weren’t normal with her… She had me induced as a preventive preeclampsia measure which I understand. The pregnancy went absolutely fine, the delivery went absolutely fine, the postpartum was absolutely fine. In the end, she admitted she needs to be more considerate when women come in with white coat syndrome so I guess that’s a win. BUT still labeled me on my chart as having hypertension. Still ending with that unbelief that I know my body and I know I’m healthy and I know she stressed me out."

"I have Kaiser Permanente and was assigned to Dr. Moon for a tubal ligation. I was very nervous about the procedure but Dr. Moon was there for me from start to finish. I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Moon. She made me feel comfortable, took her time to explain the procedure and answered my many questions thoroughly. I would highly recommend Dr. Moon and feel blessed that she was my surgeon."
