You won’t miss an in person instructor. No pressure this way. Also, you are able to try the skill more than once. That practice is valuable to learning."

"It was very easy to access the building, everything like supplies and cor dummies were laid out clearly, and I had no trouble completing all the requirements for that. I also had a First-Aid test and it was by phone that a woman was instructing me for this seminar in order to get that certificate. If you are planning on getting tested for that I would just make sure your phone is completely charged because it is through your phone that they call you"

"I went through this company the last time when it was all in person. This is the first time doing everything computer aided, including the skills portion for renewal, so I wasn't sure what to expect. They have videos emailed to you and available on the website to give you a feel for what it will be like. It was pretty seamless and surprisingly easy. Scheduling was easy with multiple openings, and once you register it's about a 24-48 hour turnaround to getting the information for taking the online portion at home. The online class was way better than what I've taken before as it takes into account of what you know, how comfortable you are with answering questions, and then tailors the rest of the online module to you. If you remember everything and feel very comfortable it doesn't take long. It even gives you analytics of how you did in each section and each question. Once you finish the online portion, it automatically updates to your account and tells you that you are ready for skills potion. At the skills center, there is no one there but multiple cameras everywhere and a customer service hotline. You go to an open station (registration info will tell you which ones to use), log into your account and go through the guided skills. The only thing that was hard, was getting used to what the mannequin was looking for in terms of depth, rate, etc. The sensors are pretty particular, so you have to get a feel for what they want or you'll be there for a few more rounds than your wrists can handle. There are a good assortment of airbags to pick from, so if one isn't working well with the mannequin, try another. I had to do about 3 rounds on each section and it took less than 1 hour. Your card gets sent to you electronically after you log out. I don't know if someone is there cleaning everyday, but the facility was clean and well kept. There are supplies like gloves and wipes to wipe everything down before/after you're done. And FYI, there is a bathroom if you end up being there longer than you expect. Definitely a good experience an would go through this company again if all stays the same in 2 years."

"This was such a great course. Super quick and easy. Simple online modules that take about an hour or two and then just going in for about an hour to practice the hands on cpr with mannequins. The hands on part was extremely easy to follow along with given that there is no person with you in the room and its the computer telling you how you're progressing and what to do or not to do. It was very helpful and informative and I feel that I've learned a lot."
