Our Lady of Mt. Carmel
● OpenWelcome to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, a cherished place of worship located at 1851 Cerritos Avenue, Long Beach, California. Steeped in history, this church is housed in the old St. Anthony Church building, which was relocated and designated as a Mission in the 1930s. In the 1980s, it transitioned into a Cambodian Mission, serving the vibrant Cambodian Catholic community in Long Beach, which is the largest Cambodian community outside of Cambodia. At Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, we embrace the rich cultural tapestry of our parishioners by offering bilingual Masses in both Khmer and English every fourth Sunday of the month. However, please be advised that due to current restrictions on mass gatherings, there will be no Masses held until further notice.
