"I dropped off a battery operated Makita drill and nail gun for repair. They said it would take a few months because apparently they send it off somewhere? Not really sure why it takes so long. That they would call me with updates. I don't use either and it was more of an attempt to see what I can expect from the Makita authorized repair center. Well time went by and I forgot all about it. It has been about a year now. I suppose I could drive way out of my way and see them in person but I did not like either tool. Though I do have a battery chain saw that froze up and needs repair. That cost me about $400. But again I have others that just plain work without fail. It's time I do something about the batteries though. Out of the 20 or so Makita batteries a large number have busted casings and others just don't work. Is it time I start building my own batter packs? (I'll need to buy a spot welder.) Anyways, this place is unreliable."
